3 Ingredient Chia Strawberry Jam
We just can't get enough of this amazing chia strawberry jam recipe, with extra prebiotic fiber from chia and just the right amount of sweetness? And did we mention it only requires three ingredients?
🍓2 tbsp Mamma Chia Organic Chia Seeds
🍓2 cups of strawberries
🍓1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
🍯1-2 tsp honey to taste (optional)
1) Heat strawberries on medium to high heat in a small saucepan until they start to soften and break down.
2) Use a spoon or potato masher to further break down the strawberries until they come to a jam-like consistency.
3) Add in chia seeds and lemon juice, mix well. Turn off heat and let cool for ~5 minutes (it will thicken).
4) Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to a week - or freeze for later use!
